Rick initially received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1986. He then continued on to graduate from the University of Florida College of Law in 1988.
​
Rick then accepted a position as a prosecutor for the Broward County State Attorney's Office where he successfully prosecuted cases ranging from misdemeanors to felony murder cases.
​
After leaving the State Attorney's Office, Ricked worked as a Lead Trial Attorney doing insurance defense litigation for approximately 6 years before leaving to open his own firm in 1999.
One of the areas wherein Rick truly stands out is his trial experience. To date, he has successfully tried over 150 jury trials. This experience greatly benefits his current bankruptcy clients who know that, if ever needed, he will not hesitate to fight on their behalf in Court.
